NV is therefore preparing a 16 GB version, but it will be a hundred bucks more expensive than the 8 GB version, i.e. the recommended price will be 499 dollars (compared to 399 for 8 GB).
And then there’s Asus and its extravagant ROG STRIX models with extreme coolers, overclocking, in short, sleek cards that the company has properly priced. However, in the case of the 16 GB RTX 4060 TI ROG Strix variant, they may have slightly overshot. According to available information, a regular 16 GB card costs CNY 3,999 in China, which translates to about $550. However, the Strix variant has a set price of 4699 CNY, or 650 dollars. That’s more than the recommended price for the RTX 4070, and it’s much further in performance. Such a card simply does not make any sense.
