“The Hidden Strife of the Prosecutor’s Office Unveiled: Insights from National Security Expert”

The war in the prosecutor’s office is the result of deep internal strife, which until now has been hidden from the public. This was said by the former secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and national security expert Prof. Nikolay Radulov in the program “The Day ON AIR”.

Radulov explained that Ivan Geshev’s mention of Borisov was an attempt at intimidation.

“Because Mrs. Maria Gabriel, who does not know who is who in Bulgarian politics, cannot ask for Geshev’s resignation? This was obviously whispered to her by Borisov. Boyko Borisov and the one who pulls the strings in the DPS have decided that Geshev no longer it is useful to them”, explained Nikolay Radulov.

“Their experience so far has shown that when they decide that someone is unnecessary and unfit, he withdraws, resigns, goes to an embassy. When they slap something somewhere, like Mrs. Bachvarova, they should send her to Israel as an ambassador,” he added. .

According to Radulov, if there are recordings that are expected to be released into the public domain, they will not be released by Geshev.

“However many records there are, they will not come out of it, because if they are recorded with the CRC, it would be a crime. If they are illegal records, it is also an offense under the Criminal Code. So these records will appear anonymously, in some mailbox, sent to some editorial office. I think there will be records, in the meaning of which some crime is hidden,” said Nikolay Radulov.

According to him, Geshev’s move in this case would be to pretend that he does not know what it is about and when he is asked if he has such cases, he should say that he does.

“We have an infinite number of records that surface in the public space, and the first question is always – is this SRS, because the leakage of SRS has been going on for years, it was done by ministers, the prosecutor’s office,” Prof. Radulov also said.

According to him, when such records come out, first one should check what is claimed in them, and then investigate how they were made.

Regarding the explosion next to the attorney general’s motorcade, he said it was very likely that this case would be covered up and that it would not be clear what actually happened.
