But, as it turned out, Tabakov still hid one secret, which he spoke about very rarely. The fact is that his last name actually should have been completely different.
“I’m not Tabakov at all,” – he dropped in one of the old interviews.
It turned out that the artist’s great-grandfather had the surname Utin. He was adopted by a wealthy peasant family of the Tabakovs, and he eventually became the successor of this family.
