A few days after Halloween, Instagram began releasing a collection of interactive features and secret tools to give a creepy and dark touch to the application.
The idea is to provide creative and thematic options witches night that allow you to connect with friends and contacts and increase participation on the platform.

These functions are hidden in the app. To discover them, Instagram shared a series of clues and keys that users will have to search for within the different usual options of the application.

These are the hidden Halloween-themed Instagram tricks
- 🎃 Secret Phrases in Direct Messages and Notes
When typing messages, certain secret words and phrases will trigger effects and animations. Some clues to start discovering them include expressions like: Feliz Halloween, trick or treatand emojis like 🎃, 👻, 🕷, 🕸️
Instagram already added 5 templates personalized “Your Turn” Halloween to have fun with your friends and take advantage of Halloween. You can find them in the section Feliz Halloweenin Stories.

- 🎃 New font + effect
A new theme font called Halloween and a text effect called Haunted They will help you express yourself and scare your friends in Stories, Feed and Reels.
A new Halloween-themed chat theme has been added to DMs and broadcast channels to add a spooky touch to messages.
These functions are now available and will remain active in the app until November 3. If you still don’t see it, update the application. The changes are rolling out to all users gradually these days.
