The HFV celebrated its 75th anniversary

The 75th anniversary of the Hamburg Football Association was not celebrated with a pompous reception, but with an open day on July 9, 2022. All interested parties were cordially invited between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. on the grounds of the HFV, Wilsonstraße 74 ab, 22045 Hamburg-Jenfeld, and watch many activities, such as children’s football, walking football, futsal, e-football and with food and drink House tours to take a look inside the HFV headquarters.

Many interested people found their way to the HFV. Among them Hamburg’s Finance Senator Dr. Andreas Dressel, the 1st Vice President of the DFB Ronny Zimmermann and HFV President Christian Okun. In their welcoming speeches, all three emphasized the great importance of voluntary work in the clubs of Hamburg’s largest sports association.
“The Hamburg Football Association is not only 75 years old, it stands for integration, inclusion, diversity and digitization. Thank you for the great work being done here,” said Senator Dressel.
“It’s great that this anniversary is being celebrated where football takes place – on the sports field,” said DFB Vice President Ronny Zimmermann, who presented the HFV with a DFB jersey with the number 75 on the anniversary.
The Hamburger Sportbund also congratulated. HSB board members Daniel Knoblich and Christian Poon were accompanied by HSJ managing director Pia Wilke.

On July 8, 1947, it was decided to found the HFV after World War II. The anniversary celebration will be combined with the HFV annual reception on August 29, 2022 in the Grandhotel Elysée.
