Bad Hersfeld (oz/pf) – In the district office of the Hersfeld-Rotenburg district administration, a special appointment for blood donation was held last week. The appointment was organized by the health management of the administration, carried out by the DRK blood donation service.
From 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., employees and their families and friends had the opportunity to donate blood and thus save lives. A total of 83 people responded to the health management call, 71 of whom were able to donate their blood. Among the donors were 26 first-time donors, which accounted for more than a third. Since the blood donation appointment was well received by the employees, it is planned to organize further blood donations in the administration in the future.
