The Heritage and Wedding Days, 39th of the name, animate the entire weekend of 17 and 18 September 2022: a short tour of the “home” proposals, organized by the Municipality of Rouen on its territory.
Always highly anticipated, this weekend of visits and discoveries of all kinds is part of the theme of “Sustainable Heritage” this year. Or how to transmit, restore and install these places we visit in the great common narrative. Dozens of churches, mills, palaces and industrial sites to see during these 2 days, with or without a guide, according to your wishes. The detailed program can be found hour by hour (and also minute by minute) on the Agenda de Rouen.fr, but also on the Website of the metropolis of Rouen Normandywho coordinates the event in the area through its label Villes et Pays d’Art et d’Histoire.
Also in Rouen the program is dense, both in terms of Heritage and Marriage, in which the City is obviously involved. A brief overview:
- city Hall : guided tours should be full again, Sunday 18th at 11am, 2pm, 3.30pm and 4.30pm. They also have the good idea this year of being accompanied by musical interludes proposed by the students of the Conservatory.
- Plant garden : on the other side of the Seine, the Jardin des Plantes hosts its independent family gathering “In search of a Ladybug’s house” throughout the weekend (free access), as well as a visit to the “ever-changing heritage” of the places ( Saturday 17, 10 am, upon registration)
- Saint-Sever Cemetery : the historian Jacques Tanguy proposes the meeting “From the polygon to the polygon, the martyrs of the Resistance”, Saturday at 2.30 pm and Sunday at 11 am.
- MJC Left Bank / La Graine : the structure hosts the show “Gisèle Halimi, defend!” »By Cie L’Ouvrage, Saturday 17 at 19:30 (upon registration)
- #LaboVictorHugo : marriage is plural here, and from Thursday to Sunday. The public will be able to discover the Cie 1% artistic reading “Pink Machine” (Thursday 3 at 18), the shows “Me Sarah Bernhardt” by BBC et Cie (Friday 4 at 19) and “Me, Mathilde Planchon, extraordinary author speaks to you of my palace of gold and silver “of the Cie La vie rêvée (Saturday 17 at 11 and 16) in addition to the readings” Forgotten “by Cie 98799 (Sunday 18 at 11) and” Letters to a second mother “by Constance de Saint-Rémy (Sunday from 6 to 3 pm).

Last “coup de coeur” of this weekend, in free access, the theatrical wanderings of L’huissier de narrowness proposed on the Hauts-de-Rouen on Saturday 17 September: a return of the micro-apartment heritage – at the scale of the neighborhood, therefore – by society Les temps absurdes not to be missed under any circumstances.
