The Herford Clinic is consuming its equity capital – the rate will drop from 23.2 to 7.7 percent in six years: three board members, still loss – frets

The only now published annual balance sheet closes with a deficit of 5.6 million euros. Like the € 7.7 million deficit from the previous year, this will be taken “proportionately from the profit carried forward”, as it is formulated in the balance sheet. Specifically, this means a reduction in equity, which is made up of the share capital paid in by the Herford district (11.7 million euros), a free reserve (eight million euros) and a dedicated reserve (6.2 million euros). This equity has fallen since 2015 from 32.4 million euros to 15.2 million euros.
