On the 30th of last month, nickname ‘Muktaenunna’ posted a video titled “The story of being chosen by a stray cat! (It’s my first time with a pet…)” on his YouTube account.
This video is a compilation of the process from when the owner first met ‘Muktae’, the pet cat he currently lives with, to adopting him.
The first time the butler met Muktae was in front of the apartment entrance in October 2021. At the time, the owner and his wife were newlyweds and had moved into a new apartment, and they were amazed when a cat they had never seen appeared and lay down.
The deacon couple and Muktae quickly became close friends. When I came home from work, Muktae always hovered around the same spot and greeted me as if he remembered the butler and his wife. Later, we even went for a walk around the apartment together.

However, in the back of the butler’s mind, the memories of being with Muktae still lingered. At some point, she noticed the cats on the street in front of her office, and although she liked dogs more than cats, she sometimes went to a cat cafe because she felt like eating.
At the end of April last year, when winter had passed and spring had already arrived, the deacon received an urgent phone call from her husband. Her husband ran into Muktae again in the same place where he first met Muktae in front of the apartment.
“I still remember that time vividly. As soon as I saw Meoktae, I ran crying and said, ‘Muktae!’ and Meoktae, who was with my husband, ran towards me with its tail held close to me. Even now, I cry when I think about that time.”
Five months had passed, but the deacon seemed to remember the couple and was acting cute like before, so the deacon finally decided to bring the child home.
When we met again, Muktae had lost quite a bit of weight compared to the fall when we broke up. She said, “I was just so thankful that he braved the winter cold and showed up.”
In fact, at first, my husband was against adoption and the owner was hesitant because it was his first time raising a pet, but after studying about cats and preparing for Muktae for two days, on May 2nd, Muktae finally joined the butler and his wife’s family.
Since the couple were both beginners, they didn’t know much, so they worried that if the food was slightly strange, they might be sick. The butler laughed and said, “One time, the cat had goosebumps on its eyes and they were brown, so I thought the eyes were bleeding, so I called the hospital and found out that the cat’s eyes were originally brown in color.”
My husband, who had initially opposed it, has now become so ‘wishing for Muktae’ that he lies down facing Muktae and falls asleep.
Meoktae and his wife met by chance and became friends. The deacon said, “Muktae, my sister and brother just need you to be happy and healthy. I’m still a rookie deacon in my second year, so I sometimes make mistakes because I don’t know your feelings, but I’m always curious about what you’re saying and what you’re feeling. “I want to know. Our love for each other is shared, right? Let’s be healthy and happy for a long, long time!” he said warmly.
