The ex-girlfriend of the Norwegian artist Sigrid opens up about the breakup in the TV series “Exposed” on NRK: – It’s incredibly sad, full of sorrow.
The freerider star Nikolai Schirmer (31) was previously in love with the artist Sigrid Solbakk Raabe (26), before it ended last summer.
Now Schirmer opens up about the break-up in the TV series Eksponert on NRK. On several occasions, the viewer sees him cry as he talks about the time after the breakup:
– Here is something I will not easily find again. I have never loved anyone the way I love him, he says candidly into the camera.
– It is grief in the same way as when someone dies. There is a person you are very fond of who just disappears, he adds.
It was Northern Lights who mentioned the matter first.
He describes long nights awake because of the grief.
– I wake up at three, four and five. I can’t sleep because I’m so restless. And I dream of her, he says in the series.
When asked by Nordlys about why he opens up about his grief in front of his comrades, he replies that it had felt strange not to share it:
– It would have been strange of me to avoid telling about the strongest experience that happened that year. Even if you don’t want to experience heartache, it is part of life and I think it was nice to be able to share about it, he says to Nordlys.
Skier Nikolai Schirmer has for a long time been very successful with his skiing videos on YouTube and Instagram.
In the series “Exposed” on NRK, the friend couple Schirmer and Kristier Kopala follow their lives, which involves skiing, film production and heartbreak.
Sigrid met Schirmer – who is a professional free rider – during the filming of a commercial for Gore Tex. She confided that during a visit to “Lindmo” in 2021.
In autumn 2022, Sigrid confirmed to VG that she had become single, and that she had recently gone through a breakup.
Tromsøværingen Schirmer is referred to as one of Norway’s best free riders. He has made a name for himself with several viral videos of breakneck skiing.
