In this thesis, the topic “The healthcare system must think long-term about education” is dealt with. As a basis for understanding the subject, the components of the vocational training system in the healthcare sector are explained. To illustrate the level of education in the healthcare system, the contents of various occupations and professions are explained in more detail. An important aspect is the professionalization of the health professions. However, the educational system in the healthcare sector is still characterized by major shortcomings, which were viewed from different perspectives in the course of housework. Furthermore, we dealt with the mental health of employees in the health care system and the prevention of mental illnesses in these professional groups. Due to the deficits mentioned above, we have dealt with various solution strategies in order to be able to consider the education system in the healthcare sector in a sustainable manner. The aim of our housework is to present the current level of education, to work out grievances and to show various solutions.
