The Health Services of San Luis Potosí: Guidelines to Prevent Covid-19

The Health Services of San Luis Potosí recommend that the general population continue to take care of themselves so as not to get sick from Covid-19; frequent hand washing is necessary, etiquette sneezing, avoiding crowds, keeping distance, and it is necessary that people who present symptoms of respiratory infections use face masks both in closed and open spaces, and if their discomfort persists for 48 hours, they should seek medical attention.

In health centers and hospitals, the use of face masks is recommended, since most of the people who come do so because they have some condition; In educational centers, it is still recommended to encourage frequent hand washing in students, ventilate spaces and use face masks in classrooms, as well as in those who come with a cough, runny nose, headache, body ache or fever.

This June 13, 14 new Covid-19 infections are announced in the State, confirming the State Committee for Health Safety and Health Services 250,135 total cases of this disease.

Of the new cases, eight were detected in the Sanitary Jurisdiction I; three, in the Sanitary Jurisdiction V of Ciudad Valles; three, in the Sanitary Jurisdiction VI of Tamazunchale; There were no new cases in people residing in another entity or in the health jurisdictions II of Matehuala, III of Villa de Pozos, IV of Rioverde, and VII of Tancanhuitz;

As no deaths from Covid-19 were registered on this day, the number of deaths in the State remains at 7,716 and hospitalization is at one percent occupancy, with three people hospitalized, none of whom require breathing assisted.

Regarding the studies of new registered cases, 11 are women and three men in an age range of 20 to 83 years, of these people only six had the complete anticovid vaccine scheme, one incomplete and the remaining seven did not go to get vaccinated
