PMJ NEWS – Spinach or Spinacia oleracea is a type of green vegetable that can be found in various countries, including Indonesia. This plant, which is often processed into clear vegetables, is actually beneficial for health.
This benefit is obtained because spinach contains vitamins A, C, K1, folic acid, iron and calcium which are needed by the body. Spinach also contains several vitamins and other minerals such as potassium, magnesium, and vitamins B6, B9 and E.

Spinach contains calcium, manganese and vitamin K which are important for bone health. Your body is constantly removing and rebuilding bone tissue. If you don’t get enough calcium, your chances of developing osteoporosis are higher.
3. Helps development
Babies There is a lot of folate in spinach. This vitamin prevents neural tube birth defects such as spina bifida in babies. That’s why doctors often ask pregnant women to take folic acid supplements.
You also get vitamin B6 from spinach, which is important for a baby’s brain development in the womb and after birth.
4. Limits appetite
Studies show thylakoid extracts from plants such as spinach can reduce appetite. This happens because the compound reduces levels of hunger hormones and increases hormones that make you feel full.
5. Strengthens the Immune System
