Shaaban said that the type of nuts he is referring to is peanuts, pointing out that it contains nutrients that are of great importance to the elderly for their health.

He added that peanuts contain minerals that help strengthen the bones of the elderly, protect them from fractures, and reduce their risk of fragility, such as manganese and phosphorus.

He explained that resveratrol, found in abundance in peanuts, plays a major role in delaying the appearance of signs of aging on the skin, such as wrinkles and facial lines, due to its antioxidant properties.
Shaaban pointed out that there are other nutrients in peanuts that preserve the youth and elasticity of the skin in the elderly, such as vitamin C and vitamin E, which also contribute to the prevention of ultraviolet radiation damage from the sun.

Concluding his speech, he stressed that vitamin E, which is available in peanuts, provides the elderly with another benefit, as it provides them with great protection against macular degeneration diseases, such as glaucoma and cataracts.
