If the government follows the health authorities’ recommendation and removes the statutory isolation obligation, it will no longer be illegal to go out if you have corona.
This is included as one of several recommendations the health authorities have submitted to the government ahead of Saturday’s press conference.
Both unions agree to remove the duty, according to VG’s information.
The meter disappears
Tomorrow, the meter and the bandage order will also expire, according to sources with insight into the process.
VG’s sources make a reservation that the last details of the relief are taken today and that there may be changes.
The government has invited to a press conference at 10 o’clock on Saturday with Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre (Labor Party) and Minister of Health Ingvild Kjerkol (Labor Party).
Health director Bjørn Guldvog and NIPH director Camilla Stoltenberg are also present.
The government assesses all corona measures on the advice of the professional authorities. Among the measures discussed are the insulation obligation and the remaining entry measures.
Støre: Celebrate in moderation
Among the measures which remains before the press conference, the requirement to keep a distance of one meter, the obligation to insulate, testing for household members and the like close, an order for a bandage where one cannot comply with the meter and testing for Svalbard.
VG is on Friday with Jonas Gahr Støre to Brest in France, where the Norwegian Prime Minister will attend the maritime summit of French President Emmanuel Macron.
To VG, Støre confirmed on Friday morning that the time for reopening was approaching, but at the same time asked that people celebrate the reopening in moderation.
– We are approaching the time to resolve the remaining measures, said Støre.
