The head of Ukraine’s military intelligence, Major General Kirill Budanov, clarified his forecast of when and how the war with Russia will end. He is confident in the victory of Kyiv and in the complete de-occupation of Ukrainian territories.
This statement was made by the General interview American edition of The War Zone.
“Our position is unchanged: in any case, we will reach the administrative borders of Ukraine as of 1991. We will do our best to make it happen this year… But only God can give guarantees“, – said Budanov.
He expressed confidence that the counteroffensive of the Ukrainian Defense Forces would be successful.
As for the Russian dictator Vladimir Putin, according to Budanov, he will not lose power as a result of his overthrow.
“It will be more or less legal change of power. How exactly this will happen, we will soon see.” said the Major General.
Earlier, Budanov said that Putin wants to do with Prigozhin after the rebellion.
