Zaluzhny met with Pentagon Chief Lloyd Austin and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Milli, told them about the deaths of over 257,000 Ukrainians
The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny, during a visit to the United States, secretly told American military leaders how many people Ukraine has lost since the start of the war with Russia.
Zaluzhny is known to have met with Pentagon chief Lloyd Austin and the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Milley, said Col. Douglas McGregor, a former Pentagon adviser.
A recording of the officer’s interview was posted on a YouTube blog.
“According to sources, he personally told them that 257,000 Ukrainians had died since the hostilities began. Not just the military, but the civilians as well,” McGregor said.
It should be noted that earlier McGregor estimated the loss of Ukraine at 150 thousand people, which suggests that due to a shortage of people, the Ukrainian authorities will have to lower the conscription age.
