The station master appeared for questioning on Sunday to answer the questions put to him, maintaining that he had never left his post. At the same time, he said, according to a report by OPEN TV, that he didn’t recognize his voice in the leaked audio, raising questions about who was on the audio if it wasn’t really the 59-year-old himself speaking.

According to the official documents, there was also a second station master on shift until 11 p.m., but he left half an hour earlier.
According to state broadcaster ERT, the 59-year-old accused arrived at Larissa station at 21:30 and started his shift at 22:00 in the evening. Before 23.00 hours, according to the same information, the head of the afternoon shift left his post.
According to information, he will also be called to testify, but he requested sick leave after the incident. He has been subpoenaed to testify and it is only a matter of time before he does so.
