The head of the education department of the city of Lesnoy, Alexey Paramonov, became the winner of the all-Russian competition “Flagships of Education”. More than 43 thousand specialists from different regions of the country took part in the qualifying round, 2.5 thousand qualified for the semi-finals, and more than 200 participants competed in the finals. Nine teachers and managers became the best, the press service of the local administration reported.
Alexey Paramonov has been working in the field of education for more than 26 years, starting his career as a history and social studies teacher. He created a management team that helped educational institutions in the city of Lesnoy receive grants for development.
In the final of the competition, together with Alexey Paramonov, the Sverdlovsk region was represented by the deputy director of Krasnoufimsk school No. 2, Elena Popova, and the director of Yekaterinburg school No. 30, Evgeny Sergunin.
— It is a great honor and responsibility to represent the city and region at the all-Russian level. New opportunities are opening up for the development of the education system,” said Alexey Paramonov.
The “Education Flagships” project from the “Russia – Land of Opportunities” platform provides opportunities to find and support talented educational leaders and teachers with the potential to work in federal, regional and municipal education systems. The competition is supported by the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation. Participants can improve their professional and universal skills, develop confidence, participate in significant events at the federal and international level, develop their expert potential and apply for a place in the personnel reserve development program of the Ministry of Education and RANEPA.
“For the Lesnoy educational community, this victory is another significant achievement. In 2022, the team of the Lesnoy education department in the finals of the All-Russian competition “Flagships of Education. Municipality entered the top ten strongest teams in the country. Having taken sixth place, it showed the best results among the teams of the Sverdlovsk region and the cities where the state corporation Rosatom is present,” the head of the city, Sergei Cherepanov, shared with the Regional Gazeta.
Earlier, Oblastnaya Gazeta reported that the leader in education in 2024 was Ekaterinburg resident Rimma Stikhina.
