The Medical Syndicate said that the Ministry of Health decided the differences in financial increases specified by the regulations of the Egyptian Health Council for submitting doctors for the Egyptian Board exams ( Egyptian Federation) to carry.

Dr. Osama Abdel-Hay, head of the Medical Assembly, welcomed the measure, describing it as “a good and temporary solution to an urgent problem.”

Abdel-Hay said in a statement that he contacted Dr. Mohamed Latif, the head of the Egyptian Health Council, who assured him that he had received a statement from the Ministry of Health that his ‘ Ministry.

Latif explained that the fee to enter the test for the first time is 600 pounds with a decision in 2019, which increased according to the new rules to 1,500 pounds, and that the ministry will carry the difference between the two values.

The head of the Doctors’ Syndicate called for the rules to be changed to cancel the doubling of entrance fees for examinations several times in one part, while saying that the Ministry of Health will bear the costs of examination examinations in accordance with what was said in Law 14 of 2014 and its amendments.

He confirmed that the Doctors Syndicate aims to remove obstacles for doctors so that they can continue in continuous medical education and training within a progressive program that is parallel to the developed countries of the world, explaining that the Council of the General Assembly of Doctors continues to take everything. legal measures to amend the regulations of Law 12 of 2022 regarding the establishment of the Egyptian Health Council.
