“This morning (July 17 – ed.) I received a positive test for coronavirus. I am awaiting the results of the PCR test,” he wrote on his Twitter.
According to him, earlier he was vaccinated against coronavirus, and therefore the disease is mild. “I had injections, and therefore the symptoms are mild,” the minister added.
Javid explained that he decided to take a coronavirus test after feeling a little unwell. Now the head of the Ministry of Health with his family is isolated at home and is awaiting the results of a second test.
He urged those who have not yet been vaccinated to “get it as quickly as possible.”
