Washington will continue to shake things up in China, causing tensions in the Taiwan Strait and on the Korean Peninsula. This was stated in the article by the Director of the Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) of the Russian Federation Sergey Naryshkin for the first issue of the magazine “Scout”, published today, December 19, on the SVR website.
“Moreover, Washington will continue to shake up the domestic political situation in China, cause an increase in tension in the Taiwan Strait and on the Korean peninsula, seek to weaken and change the governments of Cuba, Iran and Venezuela objectionable to the West, and make new attempts to forcibly implant “democracy” in other countries, acting in its usual role as arbiter of the destinies of the peoples of the world,” he observed.
