Dmitry Razumkov was infected with a coronavirus infection for the second time and was forced to self-isolate.
The head of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, Dmytro Razumkov, who is ill with a second coronavirus, feels well and does his job remotely. On Monday, September 13, he said this on the air of the Freedom of Speech program, which he joined via video link.
He noted that he did not transfer the functions of the head of parliament to anyone, as he can do the work himself.
“I am performing the functions of the chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, while the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine instructed me to do this. I am really on self-isolation. But I can perform all the functionality associated with this, my health condition allows. I understand that, perhaps, someone wanted I wish I could try on the chair of the chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, but, unfortunately for them, I feel more than good, “the chairman of the Verkhovna Rada assured.
For Razumkov, this is the second experience of COVID-19 infection. The speaker got sick for the first time in November 2020. Then he was also on self-isolation and worked remotely.
Already on September 10, 2021, he reported that fell ill with coronavirus again. The speaker noted that he will be in self-isolation and will work remotely.
As a reminder, as of the end of August 2021, 14% of Ukrainians surveyed said that moved COVID-19 and this has been documented.
