A sharp reaction from the head of the National Assembly, Nikola Minchev, provoked a post by Vazrazhdane MP Elena Guncheva, in which she threatened Russian Prime Minister Kiril Petkov and US Ambassador Hero Mustafa with a Russian attack.
“Regarding the calls of a Bulgarian MP for an attack with weapons on the Prime Minister and Ambassador accredited in our country, I declare that such statements are unworthy and inadmissible for a member of the Bulgarian National Assembly,” Minchev wrote on the parliament’s Facebook profile.
“The call for violence cannot be justified by anything. All deputies owe respect to high-ranking state officials, as well as to diplomats under Article 29 of the Vienna Convention,” the parliamentary chief said.
The reason for his sharp reaction was a post by Elena Guncheva on March 18.
“Don’t despair, there is some hope – Russia has high-precision weapons, so it can hit the Council of Ministers if Kiro simply sends our missiles to jester Zelensky. We can also send them a link to Mustafa’s coordinates,” the Vazrazhdane MP wrote. “on your Facebook account.
The Bulgarian MP’s threat to the US ambassador provoked a sharp reaction among the diplomatic corps in our country, acquaintances revealed.
