France will not introduce quarantine for unvaccinated people

France announced that the fifth wave of coronavirus infection began in November in the country.

French President Emmanuel Macron said that there is no need to introduce a lockdown for the unvaccinated in the country. The politician explained that there are sanitary passes in the republic, and that is enough. About this on Thursday, November 18, writes The Guardian.

“Those countries that close the unvaccinated are countries where health passports have not entered into force. Therefore, there is no need for this step in France,” Macron said.

He also noted that the country’s authorities are deciding whether to make revaccination a prerequisite for extending such a pass.

“As for the third dose, I am waiting for the opinion of the sanitary authorities. If it turns out that it is effective, then, of course, we will introduce it into the sanitary pass,” the head of the republic said.

It is known that in France, since August 9, they are not allowed to go anywhere without a medical permit. Theaters, cafes, restaurants, nursing homes, shopping centers, medical and social institutions – all with a pass. The corresponding rules apply to citizens over 12 years old. The system of sanitary passes will be valid until July 31, 2022.

Recall starting Monday 22 November in Greece quarantine rules will be tightened. They touch the citizens of the country unvaccinated from the coronavirus disease.

Head of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine Viktor Lyashko announced tightening quarantine in the yellow zone… A full course of vaccination will be required, both for employees of institutions and for visitors.
