The first European customers will receive HBO Max on October 26, 2021. Customers in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Spain and Andorra will gain access to the streaming service. HBO Max will be available to new and existing customers of HBO España, HBO Nordic and HBO Go, who have a prepaid service either directly or use it through their respective partners.
Price tariffs and a catalog of programs will be presented by the company at the October virtual opening ceremony. The highlight is the original series shot only for the HBO Max streaming service, such as Rod dragon, which follows on from Game of Thrones.
In 2022, as part of its gradual global expansion, HBO Max will be launched in the following 14 countries: Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Montenegro, Northern Macedonia, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia and Slovenia.
