The Cuban musical group Los 3 de La Habana was in charge of hosting an exclusive party at Mar-a-Lago, the residence of former United States President Donald Trump, in Florida.
The members of the group, based in Miami, were chosen to entertain the event this Saturday, February 10 at the opulent headquarters, one of the most luxurious and famous mansions in the state.
German Pinelli, Ana Páez and Tirso Luis Páez have previously declared themselves supporters of the Republican Party, and especially of Trump, so their cooperation in the celebration was not surprising.
Prior to this Saturday’s evening at Mar-a-Lago, Cubans shared on their networks a look at the rehearsals at the businessman’s residence, showing their pride in appearing at the exclusive party.
And the evening was dedicated precisely to promoting the magnate’s campaign as a Republican candidate for the next US presidential elections.
The Havana 3 even included in their repertoire the song they composed in honor of the Republican for the last presidential race, in 2020, Trump Songa song that achieved great popularity among the Cuban community in the United States.
The song was released in October 2020 within the framework of the electoral contest, in which the businessman lost against Democrat Joe Biden. The song urged people to vote for Trump, who even danced on his beat to his catchy beat.
Trump officially used the single during his campaign focused on the Latino vote, with his team releasing a 30-second video containing the song’s chorus, which achieved great notoriety among the billionaire’s Cuban followers despite his notable racist anti-immigrant speech.
From the former president there was recognition for the Cuban trio, when Trump shared a fragment of the English version of the song on his YouTube channel, personally thanking the musicians.
The 3 from Havana arrived in Miami in 2007. They had left Cuba to perform for a month in Cancun, but decided to undertake their migratory journey from the Mexican city to the border of that country with the United States.
