FC Annecy takes a liking to it. And change your mind. This Saturday afternoon (1:30 p.m.), the resident of National travels to the Paris region to face FC Fleury 91, on behalf of the 32nd finals of the Coupe de France. What offer a little respite to the promoted Haut-Savoyard, red lantern of his championship after 20 disputed days. Far from being definitively unhooked in the race to maintain, the team led by Rémi Dru since mid-December has therefore offered a few breaths of fresh air thanks to the Old Lady. The proof: FC Annecy has just had three consecutive successes in the 6th, 7th and 8th round. A number of victories similar to that obtained in the league so far.
The rise of Fleury
After having dismissed Bourgoin-Jallieu (N3) on the score of 4-1, then two clubs of Regional 1 that are Seyssinet (4-0) and Vénissieux (1-0), it is therefore FC Fleury 91 which stands on his way. The Ile-de-France club, resident of National 2, meanwhile relished not to victory but to competition itself during its 6th round at the end of January. Stopped like all the teams in its division since the end of October, the club of President Pascal Bovis first dismissed Mitry-Mory (R2), then Pontarliers (N3) and finally Louhans-Cuiseaux ( N2). A real rise in power perfectly controlled by the Ile-de-France residents, authors of six goals scored and zero conceded in three games. Just like for Annecy, it is therefore a completely different caliber which presents itself this Saturday at 1:30 p.m., to compete for a place in the round of 16 of the Coupe de France where fifteen professional clubs are waiting.
