The snow-vegrlas orange vigilance was lowered to “yellow” this Sunday until 4 pm by the services of Météo France.
This Sunday morning, temperatures are mostly positive again everywhere in the department and Haute-Loire is waking up with a few centimeters of snow … if it has not already melted.
Traffic is considered “normal” on the main roads (perhaps residual snow in places) with a few exceptions: the Loudes / Saint-Georges-d’Aurec section on the RN102 was snow-covered and the La Sauvetat / Pradelles sector on the RN88 South was in the same situation. The pavement treatment was in progress by the services of the DIR Massif-Central.
On the secondary network, expect snowy pavements if you have to take the road, especially on the high altitude network. Special equipment is recommended.
The day should be gray, and sunny spells rare. Precipitation is expected to occur over the terrain early in the morning. This precipitation will gradually decrease. They still persist in Livradois and Vivarais at the end of the day. It is snow that falls above 600 meters.
