The Izaskun Murgía Lyric Association collaborates once again with the NGO Harreman to raffle three baskets of local and Fair Trade products among those attending the three performances of the zarzuela El Huésped de Sevillano that will be staged at the Amaia this Friday (8:00 p.m.) , Saturday (7:30 p.m.) and Sunday (7:30 p.m.). The price of each raffle is one euro. The solidarity raffle whose purpose is to create opportunities so that impoverished people can achieve a dignified life.
EreinDaJan collaborates with local organic products from his store with a basket. And in the other two, Harreman-Denda collaborates with Fair Trade products.
The proceeds go to the Ankur Children’s Center project in Mumbai (India) and to the program that Mundukide is carrying out in Mozambique. Harreman collaborates very actively in both projects, so that people can develop and have a decent future in their own countries.

The famous zarzuela by maestro Jacinto Guerrero returns to the Amaia stage twenty years after its first staging, in December 2004, by the aforementioned lyrical association. On that occasion, its performance was dedicated to the composer and conductor Juan Arzamendi (1927-2004), who died on May 28.
Izaskun Murgia Elkarte Lirikoa will premiere its 21st zarzuela performance. Tickets, priced at 20 euros, are on sale on the municipal website www.arrasate.eus, at Kutxabank and at the Amaia box office when it opens for a performance.
The action of ‘The Sevillano’s Guest’, a zarzuela premiered in 1926, is set in the imperial city of Toledo, at the beginning of the 17th century.
The main solo actors are Susana Vázquez (Raquel), María Izaga (Constancica), Lander Oianguren (Juan Luis), Mikel Izurrategi (Rodríguez) and Jon Aranbarri (Conde D. Diego).
The secondary ones who sing a song are Ane Maiztegi (Ginesa), Enrike Altuna (Arriero) and Bárbara Lamas (lagarterana).
The secondary ones who do not sing are Luis Okina (Maese Andrés), Javier Burgos (corregidor), Mikel Irizar (guest of the Sevillian-Cervantes) and José Sánchez and Mari Carmen Gómez (innkeepers).
