The Haro Music Band honors Santa Cecilia

The parish of Santo Tomás Apóstol hosted this Sunday the traditional concert with which the Haro Municipal Music Band honored the patron saint of musicians, Santa Cecilia.

The musicians, led by Ricardo Chiavetta, performed a “difficult” concert of great sonphonic classics with works by Beethoven, Schubert, Rimski-Korsakov and Wagner, ending with a special tribute to Stravinsky on his 50th anniversary, with ‘Pájaro de fuego’, that lifted the public from their seats.

Through social networks, Chiavetta wanted to thank and congratulate all the musicians who make up the band for their “commitment, dedication and dedication.”

“My thanks to this, our beloved audience, for the emotional applause and their support for the institution that I direct from my heart and respect”, thanks Chiavetta, who made a special mention, asking for applause as she said their names, for the young jugreros who have entered and become part of the Municipal Band.

During the concert, they had several interventions as soloists during the concert. Trained at the Municipal School of Music of Haro, as well as at the Lucrecia Arana Conservatory of the city.
