The Darmstadt association league team is challenged by the leaders SV Unterflockenbach. League competitor SV Münster is highly motivated going into the game in Neu-Isenburg.
DARMSTADT – In the Football Association South, RW Darmstadt is a guest at table leaders SV Unterflockenbach, who were able to wrest a 0-0 draw in the first leg, which had been postponed several times. At Pars Neu-Isenburg, SV Münster wants to continue collecting points for staying up in the league.
SV Unterflockenbach – RW Darmstadt (Wednesday, 7.30 p.m.). The two teams only met in the postponed first leg in March, when Darmstadt missed their chance to win and had to settle for a 0-0 draw. For the second leg, the personnel situation in the red-whites hardly relaxes, at least Firat Uzun is expected to be there again.
Unterflockenbach is still undefeated at home this season, the table leaders lost only twice at home last season. As the strongest team away from home, the red and white face a huge challenge with the strongest team at home. “It’s the hardest task possible. But we want to create a sensation,” says RW coach Dominik Lohrer: “We played very well in the first leg and we have to repeat that performance to be able to hold our own against the probably already established champions.”
Pars Neu-Isenburg – SV Münster (Thursday, 7.30 p.m.). In the first leg Münster missed many chances to score and in the end conceded the equalizer against nine men to make it 1-1. However, Münster is looking ahead and at the most recent successes. “Of course we should have won the first leg, but we want to take what we have built up over the past few weeks and use it as motivation. Our goal is to collect our points against relegation,” explained coach Naser Selmanaj. Except for a Corona failure and a few ailing players, the coach can fall back on sufficient staff after the suspected cases turned out to be negative.
Neu-Isenburg was able to finish the last two games victorious. “Pars have a good team, as the last two games have shown. In order to be successful, we are again required to play in a focused manner, with discipline and commitment. But we’re motivated,” Münster’s coach continued.
