The Happiest State in America: Utah Takes the Top Spot for Work Environment, Comfort, and Emotional Stability

WalletHub published its annual report on the happiest states across the country and with a score of 69.73 Utah takes first place, in addition to earning number one in three categories: work environment, comfort and environment, as well as emotional stability . In May, Utah also ranked first in another statistic as the best state in the country to live in.

WalletHub unveiled how it made its metric to determine which states across the country can be considered the happiest. In 50 states, it measured the rate of depression among its inhabitants, how productive adults feel, income growth, and the unemployment rate to qualify.

Three categories were won by Utah: comfort and environment, and emotional well-being, resulting in Utah being the happiest state in the United States.

It is also number 1 to live

In May of this year, a report prepared by News & World Report placed Utah as the number one state in the entire country to live in, basing its statistics on the way in which they serve their residents, which is why they qualify several categories that favored the state.

To reach that conclusion News & World Report measured: Health care, education, environment, economy, opportunity creation, fiscal stability, crime, infrastructure. With an excellent percentage, Utah ranked first as the state to live well.

So for all those who live in state they must presume that they are now classified as the happiest. It should be remembered that a year ago in the WalletHub survey, the hive state came in fourth place and two years ago it was in first place.
