A case of missing persons from the Main-Kinzig district had a happy ending. The man from Hanau was found safe.

Update from October 5th at 9:18 pm: “The 52-year-old from Hanau, who has disappeared since September 17, has been found safe and sound. The search for missing persons is therefore suspended.” This was announced on Wednesday (5 October) by the Southeast Hessian police station in Offenbach.

First reportage from 23 September at 16:06: Police seek help in searching for a 52-year-old missing person from the Main-Kinzig district. The man has been missing since Saturday (September 17).

The Hanau missing person case has a happy ending

Hanau – The missing person “is about 1.78 meters tall, weighs about 85 kilograms and has short, dark hair and a new scar on his left lip,” police wrote in the public search. The 52-year-old is said to be wearing an ocher cap, a blue shirt, jeans and a cream-colored jacket.

According to information, the man left his apartment in Hanau (Main-Kinzig district) on Saturday and has not returned since. “The missing person is in urgent need of medical attention,” he reads. It is not excluded that the man may be in Frankfurt am Main.
