SHARJAH, 3rd September, 2020 (WAM) — The Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for Medical and Educational Sciences organized today, at the House of Wisdom in Sharjah, the Foundation’s Award Winners Association Forum, as part of its keenness to contribute to the excellence of educational performance in the UAE by sponsoring and supporting the winners.
The Laureates Association forum, in its first session, aims to support all initiatives and activities that promote innovation, science and technology in order to provide the educational system with the best educational cadres that contribute to graduating generations armed with science and knowledge and able to continue the process of building, development and the great achievements that the country has achieved in light of the directions and visions of the wise leadership in addition to Employing the skills of the Association members and highlighting them in various events.
The forum, which lasted for a full day, included many paragraphs and dialogue sessions, in addition to an accompanying exhibition, in which many innovative works designed by the winners of various categories and in the various sessions of the award, which dates back to 1998, were presented.
The program also witnessed the presentation of success stories presented by Aisha Al Muhairi, the first winner in the distinguished teacher category in 1998, and the winner in the distinguished student category in 2001, Khaled Al Attar.
During the forum, a discussion session was held on artificial intelligence in education, which was chaired by the winner in the distinguished educational category, Noura Al-Shehhi, and was attended by many winners and officials. Group work workshops related to the work of the forum were held.
The program also included the opening of the accompanying exhibition, in which many innovative works were presented with the participation of winners from various educational stages and the category of distinguished teacher and distinguished educator. The participations included a presentation of the innovation of the “Smart Hat Creation Device to Serve the Workers Class” designed by Faiza Al Busmait, who won the 20th and 23rd rounds, in addition to three-dimensional models designed by Hamdan Al Marzouqi, the winner of the 20th, 23rd and 24th rounds, and the innovation of the advanced white stick designed by Hind Al Naqbi, winner of the The 24th session and publications authored by the student Al-Rayyan Al-Hinai, winner of the 24th and 25th rounds, and the student Riman Abdullah, winner of the 21st and 25th rounds. Paintings were presented by the student Nila Al-Ahbabi, the winner of the 24th round. In the category of teachers and educators, teacher Aisha Al-Kaabi, winner of the 25th round, and Amira Lahbesh, winner of the 23rd round, reviewed Distinguished Pedagogical Category Best Educational Practices.
Dr. Khalifa Al-Suwaidi, Secretary-General of the Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation for Medical and Educational Sciences, confirmed that the Foundation is interested in attracting the winners of its awards, and strengthening communication with them through a bond that guarantees their continuity in achieving excellence.
And he welcomed the winners of the Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Foundation Awards at the first convening of the Winners Association Forum, which represents one of the basic programs organized by the Foundation to achieve its strategic goal represented in contributing to the excellence of educational performance by attracting the winners and providing them with follow-up care by providing a basic basis for the exchange of Experiences and knowledge, stressing that the idea falls under the objectives of the Foundation to strengthen relations between the members of the Association of winners and the Foundation by meeting the members and learning about their latest achievements and employing their skills and benefiting from them in community service in general and the pillars of the educational process in particular.
Dr. Al-Suwaidi expressed his appreciation and gratitude to those in charge of the program and the employees of the Foundation for their efforts that contribute to achieving the goals of the Foundation and in communicating with the winners of the Foundation’s awards in order to provide them with support and care.
For their part, the veterans of the winners expressed their happiness with the formation of the association that serves the goals of the institution and gives them the opportunity to get to know their colleagues and exchange experiences and knowledge in all aspects.
At the end of the ceremony, the work team of the association members was honored.
It is noteworthy that the Laureates Association includes in its membership the winners of the Hamdan Bin Rashid Foundation Awards for Medical and Educational Sciences in the category of distinguished student, category of distinguished teacher and category of distinguished educator who meet the terms and conditions for registration in the association. The association also organizes programs, events and purposeful activities that reflect their achievements in various fields.
