Get ready for a busy Saturday. Due to the Prague Half Marathon, drivers are subject to significant restrictions. Where does the exact route go? and Where will cars be banned everywhere? You will find out in the article.

For the first race of the year RunCzech 1/2 Marathon Prague 2024 the participants will start already this Saturday, April 6. Given that the runners have a track length of 21.0975 kilometers, there will be extensive traffic restrictions and complications.

“I believe that the participants of the race and the residents of our district will show mutual respect and understanding, which are necessary for such events. I wish all participants to race they enjoyed themselves, no matter what goal they set,” said the mayor of Prague 1, Terezie Radoměřská.

LOCATIONS WITH PARKING RESTRICTIONS

Vehicles parked in the locations listed below will be towed for plant safety reasons. Please park your vehicle to avoid possible towing inconvenience.

AREA BETWEEN 17. LISTOPADU STREETS, KRÍŽOVNICKÁ, SMETANOVO NÁBŘREŽÍ, NÁRODNÍ, NA PRÍKOPÁ, CELETNÁ, PÁRÍŽSKÁ streets: during the closure of the above-mentioned streets, i.e. gradually 09:45 – 12:40

entry + exit to Široká, Kaprova, Platnéřská streets and adjacent areas is allowed until 09:45 and from 10:40 via náměstí Jana Palacha and Široká street. From 9:45 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., entry via Široká street and by crossing over Pařížská street is allowed

entrance to the area of ​​Divadelní, Karolíny Světlá, Konviktská, Betlémské náměstí, Na Perštýně, Martinská, Uhelný trh, Skořepka is allowed until 10:00 a.m. and from 12:00 p.m. via Masarykovo nábřeží and Divadelní street

FULL STREET CLOSURES (SATURDAY 6/4/2024)

Traffic will be managed by the Police of the Czech Republic in cooperation with the Municipal Police of Prague. From 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., streets and intersections will be gradually closed along the race route (the times listed below are indicative, we recommend leaving with sufficient time in reserve). The closures will be opened as soon as possible.
