The hairdresser’s sparkling goodbye –

“Swan Song”
is based on a true story and received the critics’ award at the film festival in Haugesund. This is especially the main role German Udo Kier, known from several of the films of Lars von Trier, who carries the film about an aging local hero in the small town’s gay environment. The hairdresser is in a nursing home at the start of the film. For the money, he reluctantly lets himself be pushed to a comeback to take care of a deceased rich friend before she is to be buried.
