According to the chairman of Vereniging Woekerpolis.nl Ab Flipse, the court in The Hague has placed a bomb under the Dutch financial sector with its interim rulings in the woekerpolis cases against NN and Aegon. In his view, NN’s cassation request is only a way to gain time. “The insurers must start counting their knots; they are bringing the Netherlands down with their despicable behavior.”
