The Hague. A fisherman isolated by the tide rescued

Around 5 p.m., this Saturday February 27, 2021, a little less than four hours before high tide (coefficient 97), the emergency services were alerted to rescue a fisherman on foot. The man, aged 20, found himself isolated by the sea, at the foot of a 30 m cliff, at the level of the Tas-de-pois cove, in Jobourg, in the town of La Hague (Some).

Rescued by helicopter

The Dragon 50 civil security helicopter took off from Granville with two rescuers on board for this intervention, which was led by the fire brigade leader of Cherbourg. The operation went off without a hitch and the young man was able to return home unharmed.
