Just like in April, the file “Argentina is doing it” is conveyed through the WhatsApp application. The creators of this chain have thought of a text that, in full wave of Covid infections, could attract the attention of the most careless recipients. We illustrate you the text of the message translated into Italian, given the large number of reports that you have forwarded to us in the mail:

“Attention !!!!! They will upload a video to Whatsapp showing how our curve is flattening in Argentina. The file is called “Argentina is doing it”, don’t open or view it, it hacks your phone in 10 seconds and cannot be stopped in any way. Pass the information on to family and friends. DO NOT OPEN…… Now they also said it on TV ”.

We repeat, once and for all. There is no “Argentina is doing it” file circulating on WhatsApp that can format and hack our smartphone. Be careful, however, why this must not make us let our guard down. Any strange connection, such as the one back in fashion today November 16, should be ignored, as it could hide different pitfalls than those we perceive.
