The whims of monarchs can amaze.
The quirks of the royal family have long been legendary, because the habits of some of its representatives can shock ordinary people. The secrets of the palace cuisine have recently been revealed and there is reason to be surprised.
We are talking about the eating habits of King Charles III. When Charles was still heir to the throne, he demanded that his subjects strictly served him two plums for breakfast. Interestingly, the prince ate only one dried fruit, leaving the second one on his plate. Once they were served a prune, for which they received a reprimand. Since then, the chefs haven’t broken the rules.
Charles’ second habit is to eat eggs cooked for no more than four minutes. He is served seven pieces for breakfast, but he chooses only one. The remaining eggs, according to Charles, are cooked “poorly”.
The third point is to eat strictly twice a day. Carl has breakfast two hours after waking up and dinner before bed. Those close to you struggle, because they too starve until the evening.
Given the strict and largely ridiculous requirements of the monarch, his entourage is having a hard time. And the patience and endurance of the royal servants cannot but amaze.
