The Gyöngyvirág Kindergarten in Székesfehérvár is among the Earth Champions winners

E.ON considers it important that education for sustainability and environmental awareness begins at an early age, which is precisely why they launched their competition called Champions of the Earth, with which – as they write in their announcement – community initiatives in which joint work can be applied for and experience contribute to the education and upbringing of children, and through them to the shaping of their wider environment. The applications were basically judged by a five-member jury, but the public could also vote. And E.ON supports the implementation of the projects deemed the best by the professional jury and the public with a total of HUF 25 million.

As we learned from E.ON, the entries came from all over the country, so it is a special pleasure that the Gyöngyvirág Kindergarten in Székesfehérvár was among the winners. The projects included the most diverse ideas possible, and the 14 winning projects will be put into practice by the institutions this autumn.
