The Gynecological Trailer was stationed in Banda de Río Salí in front of Caps Pacará

The unit that has been traveling around the province to provide comprehensive care and preventive studies for prevalent diseases in women, such as cervical cancer, will be at this location until Friday, August 9.

In this regard, Dr. Estela Esquivel The representative of the Breast Cancer Program of the province highlighted that during the day they were stationed in Banda del Río Salí in front of the Caps Pacará with the objective of continuing with the guidelines of the Governor Oswald Jaldo and our Minister doctor Luis Medina Ruizwhich is to bring health closer to the population.

“The message from the governor and our minister is that we should work alongside the community and this is a great opportunity since these trailers have new technology such as a Video Colposcope where images can be transferred, in case there is any type of suspicion, to a reference center to be evaluated and a diagnosis issued,” he emphasized.

Along these lines, the representative stressed that thanks to these trailers, technology can be brought closer to patients who do not have access to health care due to where they live, in addition to other services.

“The gynecological trailer has everything necessary to detect any gynecological cancer thanks to rapid tests for sexually transmitted diseases. We have the EvaColpo that allows us to take biopsies, and in the same trailer we can perform some types of interventions such as microsurgeries to remove a lesion,” he added.

Finally, Esquivel explained that they will be in front of Caps Pacará until Friday. “The trailers are installed depending on a sanitary route that is previously evaluated in order to reach all the places where they do not have this technology,” he concluded.
