A pregnant 21-year-old resident of Krivoy Rog, who was doused with flammable liquid and set on fire by her 17-year-old partner, died in the intensive care unit. Two of her children were left without a mother.
This was reported by the local newspaper “The first city”… It is noted that the information about the tragic incident was confirmed by the Kryvyi Rih District Police Department.
Recall: on May 26, during a quarrel in one of the apartments of a high-rise building on Sobornost street in the Dolgintsevsky district of the city boyfriend set fire to his girlfriend… After the incident, he asked the neighbors to call an ambulance, claiming that she herself was burned, and then ran away.
The young woman, who was 17 weeks pregnant, was hospitalized. The victim was diagnosed with burns to the face, body, arms, legs and respiratory tract of varying degrees. In total, about 70% of the body was affected.
“For about a week, doctors fought for her life in the intensive care unit, but they failed to save the woman,” the message says.

The publication adds that the deceased had two more children. They are handled by juvenile prevention workers.
The juvenile attacker was detained by law enforcement officers on the day of the incident; today he is in custody – such a measure of restraint was chosen for him on May 28, for the duration of the investigation. The police are still deciding the issue of retraining the case.
Earlier it was reported that the investigation began under Article 115 of the Criminal Code “Intentional Murder”. During the searches of the house the weapon was confiscated from the guy.
