Tottenham vs Arsenal presented at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Sunday (15/1/2023) evening WIB. The visitors took a two-goal lead in the first half via Hugo Lloris (own goal) and Martin Odegaard.
The home team failed to catch up in the second half. Score 2-0 for Arsenal to be the final result of the match.
These results make Arsenal collect 47 points and firmly in the first position of the standings Premier League. Tottenham are stuck in fifth place with 33 points.
Course of the Match
Arsenal got the first chance in the seventh minute. Eddie Nketiah’s shot on target was blocked by Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris.
GOL! Arsenal opened the scoring in the 14th minute. Hugo Lloris scored an own goal.
Bukayo Saka was the mastermind behind Arsenal’s first goal. He shot the ball from a tight angle which Lloris missed. The Gunners lead 1-0.
Tottenham almost equalized four minutes later. Son Heung-min’s shot in the penalty box was thwarted by Aaron Ramsdale.
Arsenal got a golden opportunity in the 25th minute. Thomas Partey’s long-range shot hit the goal post.
GOL! Arsenal doubled their advantage nine minutes later. This time it was Martin Odegaard who listed his name on the scoreboard.
The Arsenal captain received the ball from Bukayo Saka outside the penalty box and sent it into the Tottenham goal. The Gunners led 2-0 until halftime.

Tottenham step on the gas early in the second half to catch up. Harry Kane’s shot on target in the 49th minute was pushed over by Ramsdale.
Ramsdale returned to save Arsenal’s goal two minutes later. This time the England keeper blocked Ryan Sessegnon’s shot in the penalty box.
Tottenham entered Richarlison to increase the power of the attack. Arsenal’s defensive line meeting still cannot be penetrated by The Lilywhites’ front line.
Tottenham were unable to score the ball into the goal until the long whistle sounded. The game is over for Arsenal’s 2-0 victory.
