Installed 662.5 megawatts (MW) by supplying electricity to the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) system with a contract period of 25 years.
The GPD power plant project, located in Rojana Industrial Park (Pluak Daeng), Pluak Daeng District, Rayong Province, is one of the group of IPP power plants under “Independent Power Development Co., Ltd.” or IPD. ” which operates 2 IPP projects with a total installed capacity of 5,300 MW, namely GSRC power project and GPD power project, with an installed capacity of 2,650 MW each (divided into 4 production units, 662.5 MW each )
All 4 units of GSRC power plant have already been commercially operated. Between the years 64-65 As for the GPD power plant project, the second production unit is scheduled to start commercial operation in October 2023 and the third production unit in March 2024. and production unit 4 in October ’24
