Guitarist Jussi Turpeinen quits the band Yö. Turpeinen has been part of Yö’s lineup since 2017.

The matter is reported on Yö’s Instagram account. Turpeinen commented on the matter in the update published by Yö.

– Thank you for the years together 2017-2024 Yö-yhtyte. Along the way, I got to experience almost everything that can be experienced in this country’s entertainment and event industry, Turpeinen’s part begins.

In the update, he also explains the reasons for the termination.

– However, as time went by, I started to feel that I had given this Finnish rock freak all that I had to offer, and in return I felt that I had received all that this organization could offer me. This caravan doesn’t stop and the songs keep playing no matter who is performing them. We face the future with an open and curious mind, says Turpeinen.

At the end of the update, it is said that the guitar will be played at the concerts at the end of the year Samuli Erkkilä.
