Anyone who has kept pace with each update in recent years can see that since Microsoft they have slowed down very few times, releasing hundreds of new versions. As it happened in its day, 2021 has started with a good rate of updates, including the news that we will see along with corrected errors.
Among those fixes, and barring some surprise, we will see the improvements for the controller problems that are still investigating from Redmond, and that cause random disconnections.
Update details
You already have a new update available for Insider members Skip Ahead y Alpha in version 2102. To access Alpha and Skip Ahead, mainly because of the type of early software it is, it can only be done by invitation.
We finally know one of the news that will come to Xbox One and Xbox Series X / S with the February update unless there is a problem. More specifically, we will have a new option in the Guide that shows the Xbox ecosystem.
What’s new in the Xbox update
From now on in the Guide we will have an option to view on mobile and complete certain actions from our Smartphone. Of course, for this we will have to use the installed Xbox application.
This is a very small function, which allows us to switch between the devices and that, in those specific actions, the ecosystem is more than clear.
Insider updates improvements
- Fixed a bug where there was no audio when launching the console.
- Updates to improve localization to different languages in the console.
Known bugs on Xbox One
- Xbox Series X / S controllers may lose connection with the console.
- If it happens, we can reconnect the remote to the console via USB / Wireless or if it is possible to connect another remote to send comments. Then we can restart the console and pair this remote again.
- The audio mixer cannot be used by some users to adjust the chat / game volume.
- The demo / test tag may incorrectly mark some games.
- Wrong color profile may be applied when we connect the console.
This update is now available to download on our Xbox One / Xbox Series X / S as long as we are in these rings. For it, we only have to have the console connected to the Internet, or manually go to Settings to check for updates. In any case, it will be necessary to have the latest version to access the online services.
