– The virus mutates. And U.S? What a challenge for the future!
Virgile Rochat wants a deep societal questioning in the face of present and future challenges.

The virus mutates. It never stops and will not stop mutating. Occurring in China, then declined in Indian, English, Brazilian etc. variants, WHO preferred to give these various strains a Greek letter (Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Omicron…) so as not to stigmatize one or the other country. Rightly so, because the virus does not care about borders, it is indeed international. His changes aim to overcome the roadblocks in front of him.
Constantly seeking to reproduce, it forces us to adapt our reactions and control strategies constantly. We will come to the end – not of the virus – but of its deleterious effects either by vaccination, or by the individual development of the disease itself (which has the same immunizing effect, but suffering of the victims, overloading of intensive care beds and exhaustion of hospital staff in addition). Mutation therefore. And undoubtedly continual mutations, even new viruses which may be infinitely more formidable. Viruses buried for millennia in the ice of the poles which, accelerated heating, melt visibly …
“To enter collectively and massively in change, so as not only to survive, but to live smarter.”
These continual mutations, this constant adaptability in order to survive, should put us on the alert to us humans, and invite us too to react by mutating. To enter collective and massive change, so as not only to survive, but to live more intelligently, more in accordance with our limits, more adapted to our living conditions. This is to tackle the causes of the infinitely more worrying problems of climate change and the loss of biodiversity.
Some questions:
When will we stop weakening our physical and mental immune systems by living above ground? By dazzling in endless consumption? When will we stop moving on land and in the air for a yes and a no? When will we stop circling our goods three times, overheating our homes, indiscriminately throwing and wasting limited goods? When will we stop consuming excessively, exploiting the land and the peoples of the South?
Deep transformation
We must not be mistaken about the battles to be waged: it is a necessary change which is before us. A in-depth transformation whose slogans “less is more”, “small is beautiful” or “less to have, more to be” are real life programs! It is a question of mutating. Not to mutate according to the aims of transhumanism and augmented man, but on the contrary of the finite human, limited, but infinitely and powerfully alive!
A real challenge is before us: to effect a societal change which really preserves our living conditions, takes into account the limits of the planet and thus offers a future!
It is an exciting challenge and anyone can become the craftsman.
