The Guajimía ravine, in Santo Domingo Oeste, overflowed after the rains that were registered this Friday, due to the incidence of a weak trough in the national territory.
In some videos that reached the writing of Free Journal, it is observed how the polluted water stream carries tons of garbage, which is deposited by local residents, because supposedly the city council truck has not passed through the area for a long time.
“Look at how the trustee has us, because he doesn’t know how to do his job and people have to come and dump the garbage in the canyon. Here even a house broke down, luckily no one lives there. If they came and picked up the garbage, this would not happen ”, said a person who can be heard in the background in the footage that shows the situation.
